Creating a character isn’t just about making something cute or cool—it’s about problem-solving, iteration, and crafting a personality through design. Snipp wasn’t made to be just another Mix Monster; they were built to feel like an inventor before they even say a word.
The process begins with shapes. Snipp needed to look nimble, sharp, and focused—but never intimidating. That meant using small, compact proportions with a hint of controlled chaos. Every tweak to their silhouette tells a story. Do their hands look like they could tinker with tiny parts? Does their posture suggest curiosity and determination? The first drafts of Snipp were wildly different—some were taller, others more rounded—but the magic happens when all the right elements finally click.
Then come the expressions. Snipp needed to convey sharp wit, a hint of impatience, and an “I’m working on something important” energy. Their eyes? Focused. Their mouth? Slightly pursed, but capable of an enthusiastic grin when inspiration strikes. When we animate Snipp, they don’t move aimlessly—every twitch of their fingers, every tilt of their head tells a story about what’s going on in their mind.
And finally, the rigging process takes Snipp from a static design to a fully realized character with real movement. This is where we fine-tune how their body reacts—how they pause in thought, how they hunch over a project, how they throw their hands up in frustration when something isn’t working. Snipp isn’t just designed. They’re crafted.
